150TH ANNIVERSARY GIFTS
The Kansas Association of Pi Beta Phi (House Corporation) Board and the 150th Anniversary Steering Committee are pleased to announce three projects honoring our chapter's 150th anniversary.
150th ANNIVERSARY PROJECTS
$400,000 fundraising goal
1. Enlarging the front circle of the chapter house to make it more accessible. This will include adding a stone retaining wall in the front with elegant, gently backlit "Pi Beta Phi" lettering. We'll also freshen and add to the existing landscape in front of the house.

2. Installing a custom iron handrail at the center of the front stairs, featuring tasteful bronze arrows and "Pi Beta Phi" in Greek letters. Please see below for photos of the beautiful new handrail, donated by Kay Johnson and her family.
Our sincere thanks to the Johnson/Ferguson/Rathbone family members for their generous gift:
Kay Rathbone Johnson ('58), Jackie Johnson ('82), Jordan Ferguson Lisher ('04), Hilary Ferguson Postlethwaite ('08), Molly Rathbone Maxwell ('87), and Susanna Rathbone Jones ('97)
3. Refreshing and restoring the Pi Phi Bench on the KU campus. The bench was a gift to the university in 1923, when Kansas Alpha celebrated its 50th anniversary. It's located near Blake Hall, south of Fraser Hall. In honor of our 150th anniversary, we have funded a restoration of the bench, thanks to a memorial donation by the children of Sharon Lynch Kimbell ('57).

Many thanks to Mike Kimbell and Kay Kimbell Almanza for their gift in memory of their mother, Sharon Lynch Kimbell ('57).
