DONATE TO A SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Another way to support Kansas Alpha Pi Beta Phi is by helping KU Pi Phis with the cost of school. You can do this by donating to scholarship funds that are designated just for KU Pi Phis.
There are several funds at KU Endowment and the Pi Beta Phi Foundation which benefit Kansas Alphas. All are greatly appreciated and provide much needed support to KU Pi Phis.
But in honor of 150th Anniversary Honorary Chair Kay Johnson, we'd like to point out the Kay A. Rathbone Johnson and Monte C. Johnson Pi Beta Phi Scholarship. The fund was endowed by Kansas Alpha House Corporation in recognition of the Johnsons' immense support of the chapter, especially during the last renovation.
This scholarship is for sophomores or juniors, in recognition of service and leadership to the Kansas Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. Recipients must be enrolled at KU in at least 12 hours, and be active in the chapter, campus and community.
Kay Rathbone Johnson ('58) is the matriarch of a strong Kansas Alpha Pi Phi family. Pictured in photo, Kay is sitting with her daughter and two granddaughters, all of whom are KU Pi Phis.
