Registration at the Oread Hotel

Stop by the Pi Phi Hospitality Desk in the lobby of the Oread to pick up your name tag, which will be your "ticket" for all activities throughout the weekend. We'll also have information on shuttles and confirmation of your chosen Saturday morning activity.
Arriving later or on Saturday? No problem! A friend can pick up your name tag, if that's easiest for you. Please let us know.
5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Decade Receptions at the Oread Hotel
Meet up with pledge sisters, as well as KU Pi Phis from the same decade! Your weekend ticket includes complimentary heavy appetizers with cocktails available for purchase.

A shuttle bus will transport you between the Pi Phi hotels and the Oread Hotel for the Friday evening reception, if you prefer not to drive. The buses will not drop off at restaurants or private homes, only the Pi Phi hotels.

Your Choice of Saturday Morning Activity
(all begin at 9:30 a.m.)
Sign-ups for the Saturday morning activities are now closed. Optional shuttle bus service will transport you between the Pi Phi hotels to the Saturday morning activities with a stop at the Pi Phi Open House. The shuttles will also pick up after morning activities and will make stops at the Pi Phi house and the Pi Phi hotels.
You'll receive shuttle details when you check in at the Oread.
Option 1: Breakfast with the Presidents
Meet Pi Beta Phi's Grand President, Lisa Gamel Scott, and celebrate Kansas Alpha as the oldest continuous chapter of Pi Beta Phi! Lisa will provide a brief "State of the Fraternity." She'll also discuss the role Pi Phi plays in the life of today's collegian. In addition, Kansas Alpha Chapter President Emily Lang will provide a brief "State of the Chapter." Enjoy a light breakfast (coffee, tea, rolls, fruit, etc.) with old friends and new ones.

Parking: Plenty of metered street parking near the Eldridge, which is free on weekends. There is also a free 2-hour parking south of the hotel. Please see note above about optional shuttle service to breakfast.

Option 2: Pi Phi Yoga

Sarah Moore Fitzgerald ('87)
All-levels yoga flow on the KU campus with Kansas Alpha Sarah Moore Fitzgerald ('87). Sarah is an RYT (registered yoga teacher) with Yoga Alliance, and she teaches in southern in California. Whether you're a seasoned Yogi or have never rolled out a yoga mat, ALL levels will be welcomed to a relaxing and mindful yoga practice that will celebrate our Pi Phi sisterhood! Please bring your own mat or towel, if possible; we'll have a few yoga mats to borrow, as well.

Dress: Yoga attire - comfortable clothing you can move in.
Option 3: Campus Tour
Join Kansas Alpha Jennifer Jackson Sanner ('78) for a Pi Phi-focused campus tour. Learn what's new at KU and what's exactly as your fondly remember it. Jennifer, longtime editor of Kansas Alumni magazine and a senior Vice President at the KU Alumni Association, will share stories of campus landmarks, including highlights important to Pi Phis. Ring Ching and Rock Chalk! This tour will be on a bus with at least one opportunity to get out and walk around.

Option 4: Tour of Allen Fieldhouse

Al Wallace, Retired Sports Anchor from WDAF-TV
If you're a diehard KU basketball fan, this tour is for you! Your VIP tour will be led by former WDAF-TV (KC) sports anchor, Al Wallace, who covered KU's men's basketball for nearly 30 years. Al brings decades of courtside experience, stories of locker room drama, and a deep love of basketball history. Not only will you see the 2022 National Championship trophy and Naismith's rules of basketball, but you'll also visit the locker room and the court. Bring your camera or phone for lots of photos! This is a walking tour; however, there will be elevators available for those with limited mobility.

Kansas Alpha Open House
Drop by the Pi Beta Phi house at 1612 W. 15th St. for a festive 150th Anniversary Open House between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday.
Visit your old room on a house tour, and enjoy light refreshments with friends! Bring your credit or debit card to purchase Kansas Alpha-exclusive souvenirs at our Ring Ching Rock Chalk Pop-Up Shop (with funds raised supporting the chapter)! Save time to thumb through old scrapbooks and study our display of historical memorabilia in the dining room.
Dress: Anything goes! You're home!
Time: Drop in any time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Kansas Alpha Sesquicentennial Celebration
Happy Birthday, Kansas Alpha!
The weekend culminates in an evening of sisterhood and celebration at the Kansas Alpha Sesquicentennial Celebration in the Burge Union.

Sip on a signature cocktail when you arrive. Enjoy a delicious plated dinner with wine at each table (cash bars also available), and a Kansas Alpha Cookie Shine for the ages! We'll have a brief presentation at the end of dinner to salute the chapter we love and the lifelong friendships we cherish, thanks to our Kansas Alpha founders.
Your weekend event ticket includes Saturday night round-trip ground transportation between the Pi Phi preferred hotels and the Burge Union. If you aren't staying at one of our designated hotels but would like to ride the bus, please plan to park and ride from one of the listed hotels.

Dress: Pi Phi Cocktail... dress for a party! We encourage you to wear shades of Pi Phi colors or neutrals (all shades of blue, burgundy/rose/pink, silver, gold, white/cream, or black), and wear your badge or other arrow jewelry! Check out our Pinterest page for ideas and inspiration. Be creative and have fun! Dressy pants, skirts, dresses are all appropriate for the celebration dinner.
